List Get Field
Runs on: Shared — pure logic, runs on the Community backend or inside a chatbox overlay.
The List Get Field node reads one field from every item in a list of objects, producing a list of just that field's values — sometimes called "plucking" a column. For example, turning a list of leaderboard entries into a plain list of usernames.
A field is required: pick it in the node, or wire the field input to choose it at runtime. There is no "whole item" option — for that, just use the list directly.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
list | list | The list of objects to read from. |
field | string | Optional. Wire this to choose the field at runtime instead of picking it in the node. |
Outputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
result | list | The field's values, one per item, same order as the input. Disabled until a field is chosen. |
Configuration
- Field: required. The output is disabled (and running the flow errors) until a field is selected or wired.
Example
Feed a broadcaster leaderboard variable into List Get Field with Field set to username to get a plain list of names — useful for a !raffle announcement that lists everyone currently entered.
